Since Priority’s 2003 compilation Greatest Hits grabbed some of the most important tracks this West Coast G gave to soundtracks, their 2007 Ice Cube collection In the Movies isn’t the grand discography helper it could have been. It’s best for the faithful fans who bought all the albums but not all the soundtracks Cube landed on or those who don’t mind a little redundancy as long as they get to take a nostalgic ride back to the ’90s when the hip-hop soundtrack was king. Tracks from Murder Was the Case (“Natural Born Killaz”), Boyz N the Hood (“How to Survive in South Central”), I Got the Hook Up (“Ghetto Vet”), The Players Club (“‘We Be Clubbin’”), and Friday (“Friday”) prove Cube was on the best of them, often with the soundtrack’s key cut. The rest of the set is more archival than vital, but there’s nothing here that suggests the rapper was taking the Hollywood money and running. My good friend is an intelligent, well-spoken attorney, but he is always running into poles, attempting to exit doors clearly marked “wrong way”, and getting food all over himself almost every time he eats, spilling colorful food from head to toe.

It was really a good year for Bruce Willis for having two of the most biggest and talked about film this year. The Expendables movie which was been released a couple months ago has fairly generated a pile of dollars and pounds by having a flooded audience on the theater houses during the release of the movie. Bruce Willis was among the action stars on the movie working with the biggest action stars in the film. Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li and Arnold Schwarzeneger were among few to mentions.
On October 15 still this year, Willis is coming back again on the screens with another action film. But this time, this is some kind of an action paired with comedy. Red Movie 2010 is a film that features the life of Ex-CIA agents. Together with him are Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Mary – Louise Parker, and Helen Mirren. Imagine these guys in an action films. Aside from Bruce Willis of course who lived his life in the action movies, the rest of stars in the film are known for a drama films. Think about Freeman and Mirren. Speaking of Helen Mirren, her portrayal in the RED movie is admirable.
